Jako každý rok touhle dobou byly ohlášeny nominace na 2018 Eisner Awards. Jak jsou na tom letos nominovaní z hlediska titulů vycházejících v čestině? Vůbec ne špatně, třebas taková Monstress/Netvora, která co nevidět vyjde u Crwe, má hned pět nominací (nejlepší série na pokračování, nejlepší publikace pro dospívající, nejlepší scenárista, nejlepší malíř/multimediální umělec, nejlepší obálkář). Dále je tu se čtyřmi nominacemi Black Hammer/Černá Palice (nejlepší série na pokračování, nejlepší scenárista, nejlepší kreslíř(i)/inker(ři), nejlepší koloring) a po jedné Arthur and the Golden Rope/Artur a zlaté lano (nejlepší publikace pro začínající čtenáře) a Herman Melville’s Moby Dick/Moby Dick: Bílá velryba (nejlepší adaptace z jiného média). Vítězové jednotlivých kategorií budou tradičně vyhlášeni o prázdninách na Comic-Conu v San Diegu.
